Serenity Counseling Services of Virginia (SCSVA) provides community based and residential mental and behavioral health services to individuals ages 5 and older. Our goal is to provide structured, outcome-based treatment, which strives to increase an individual’s level of self-sufficiency and independence within their home and community. We aim to build trusting relationships with clients and their families, while establishing collaborative relationships with other agencies and providers who are relatively involved in their care.
Ourmission
The mission of Serenity Counseling Services of Virginia is to provide quality supports and resources to individuals ages 5 and older that are enrolled in our programs. We also aim to normalize the conversation around mental health diagnoses and treatment, which has led us to our “Break The Stigma” campaign. SCSVA is committed to educating our community about what mental health is and how it affects every person.

Serenity Counseling Services of Virginia currently offers Residential Crisis Stabilization and Mental Health Skill Building Services for adults ages 18 and older, and Intensive In Home Services for children and adolescents ages 5-21. SCSVA services individuals in our residential facility, or in their homes or other community settings via face-to-face sessions or using telehealth methods.
